BioGreetings to those scant few who are remotely interested in the twisted workings of my weird, subversively mundane mind. I hope I bring some level of insight or entertainment to any of the illustrious communities I may get involved in. Or failing that, I get to read entries by far more fascinating people than myself.
I decided to try Livejournal out for the sole purpose that it looked cool and to improve my skills as a writer and a communicator. Or I wanted to get more info on what Asian or other overseas dramas to download into my already exhausted computer. Take your pick. I'm not really talented when it comes to stuff like icons, wallpapers, fanfic (though I have dabbled back when I was hopelessly in love with Alias and Full Metal Panic) or whatnot. I plan on learning in order to spruce up my journal in the hopes that it will be aesthetically pleasing to others. Until then, bear with the blank canvas that is my life, i.e Livejournal.
Some more trivial tidbits about myself: For the most part, I favor Asian entertainment over all others though the truth is I'm still a neophyte when it comes to doramas so any recommendations would be helpful. I long ago lost interest in American television since they lack the cracktastic melodrama of doramas and since every other show seems to be a rip off of the "O.C" a show which I never dared to touch. I will occasionally break and watch some delightfully trashy reality show like "Flavor of Love" because I'm petty and shallow. Afterwards I always feel the need to scrub myself raw. I hold the current administration of this great country in bemused contempt although I ironically have what could be called a government occupation. I go to school in Cali, majoring in nursing (although I think I might be waffling when it comes to choosing professions. I'm wishy-washy like that.
What I love most in the world is long naps and daydreaming about a world where my boyfriend is someone who looks like Yamashita Tomohisa, is as snarkily intelligent as Stephen Colbert, and as awkwardly affectionate as Doumyouji Tsukasa from Hana Yori Dango. Oh well. A girl can dream.
